The conditions at the LTS can vary greatly. It is important to be prepared, bringing appropriate gear and supplies. It is also important to be aware that conditions may change greatly over time, especially if flooding occurred recently.
Consider bringing the following to the LTS:
- Sunscreen
- Water
- Hat
- Food
- Maps
- Adequate gasoline
- Tow rope
- Tire plugs and repair kit
- GPS unit
The only service provided in the LTS is toilets.
There are no RV hookups or dumpsites. The closest available RV dump is in Valley Fire State Park. The access to this point is approximately 45 minutes from the main LTS entrance.
